Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This policy explains how PickLah handles information when you use our website at picklah.my or our Android app, com.picklah.app.
Information we handle
- Wheel drafts: your choices, wheel settings, and selected images are saved on your device. Signing in does not automatically upload your draft. Clearing browser or app storage removes locally saved drafts.
- Accounts: when you register with a password, we store your username, a password hash, and account creation details. We do not store your password in plain text.
- Google sign-in: Google provides an identity token and profile information for authentication. We verify your identity and email verification status, and store your Google account identifier and display name. PickLah does not receive your Google password.
- Sessions: we use authentication cookies or app session storage to keep you signed in. Server sessions expire after seven days.
- Shared wheels: when you use an available sharing feature, the wheel content needed to display the shared wheel is sent to our server. Anyone with its link can view that content. Avoid including private information in shared wheels.
- Service requests: our hosting infrastructure processes information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the service.
How information is used
We use information to operate your account, authenticate sign-in, display wheels, support shared links, and maintain the security and reliability of PickLah. Hosting providers process service data on our behalf. Google processes information when you use Google sign-in or Google advertising services.
Advertising and Google AdMob
The Android app integrates Google AdMob to display banner ads. Google's advertising SDK may process IP addresses, device and advertising identifiers, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, ad interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. The information processed depends on your device settings, consent choices, and Google's services.
Where required, the app asks for advertising consent. When available, Ad privacy options in the Choices screen lets you review your advertising consent. You can also manage advertising settings on your Android device. Learn more in Google's privacy policy and Google's advertising information.
Storage and security
Local drafts remain on your device until you replace or remove them or clear app storage. Account records remain on our server while the account exists. Shared wheel content remains available while stored by the service. Expired sessions can no longer authenticate requests. Infrastructure logs and backups may remain separately from active records.
We use HTTPS for production service connections and hash passwords and server session tokens. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and account deletion
You can use the wheel without creating an account, sign out at any time, and remove local drafts by clearing this site's browser storage or the Android app's storage. Clearing device storage or uninstalling the app does not delete your server account.
For questions about accessing, correcting, or deleting account information, contact the developer using the support contact listed on PickLah's Google Play listing. Include your PickLah username and say that you are requesting account deletion. Do not send passwords or sign-in tokens. Requests may require identity verification before account records can be removed.
